Olá pessoal,
aqui estão 3 renders do Chevy Impala do filme American Graffiti. É um belo carro, no qual foram limados os emblemas em V, característicos daquela época, e os escritos e logos Chevrolet. Uma das características bem visíveis nesse carro é o fato da suspenção traseira ser ligeiramente levantada e a dianteira baixa.
Apesar do modelo ter a frente bastante comum à linha chevrolet desse ano, o modelo apresentava as tendências de design da Detroit cinquentista, apresentando muitas linhas inspiradas em aeronaves, como as lanternas traseiras cônicas, falsas entradas de ar na lateral e no teto entre outros detalhes.
O autor desse belo modelo aí é o artista no 3D Dan Palatnik (o link para o seu blog Garagem Digital se encontra aí ao lado na lista de blogs).
O que fiz no modelo original foi criar novas rodas iguais às do filme, retirar os emblemas e levantar a suspenção traseira e abaixar a dianteira.

here are 3 renders of the Chevy Impala from American Graffiti. It's a beautiful car, which were removed all the V emblems and the Chevrolet letters and logos. One of the easiest features to see on this car is the fact of the suspension be quite high on the rear and low on the front.
Although the model having the front design looking equal to all the other 1958 Chevrolets, it shows some design trends of the 50's Detroit, like the front (down on the grill) and rear conic lights, the fake air entry on the sides and on the roof, and some other little details.
The autor of the beautiful 3D model is the artist on modeling Dan Palatnik (the link to his blog Garagem Digital is right here on the side, on the blog list).
What I to the original model was to make new wheels to it, the same as in the movie, take all the emblems and logos off and raise the rear suspension and lower the front one.
